September 98 – Aug 01 Logistics Manager

Responsible for vehicle logistics (vehicle distribution, delivery and invoicing), the supply, either from abroad (including transportation, import & custom clearance), or domestic production (plant in Adapazari-Turkey) and afterwards distribution and delivery to the dealers and customers were the main responsibilities. This processes performed for around 10,000 vehicles annually with more than 20 models supplied both from domestic factory (Otoyol Sanayi) and from the various factories of IVECO around Europe. 3 people in distribution and delivery and 2 people in invoicement, a total of 5 people are reporting to me within this operation.

Managed spare parts logistics consisted of purchasing & procurement (18 million USD annual budget from more than 150 suppliers both local and overseas), importations, stock and materials management,warehousing, distribution and delivery, exportation (around 1 million USD per year), spare parts engineering (parts identification information, technical drawing, catalog applications) and information systems in support of all these applications for a set of 25,000 items. Managed 16 white collar specialists and employees and 24 workers.

Responsible for US$ 3 Million foreign purchasing and US$ 1 Million export operations.

March 95 – April 97 Area Spare Parts Sales Responsible, Ankara

Sales and regional marketing activities of the Otoyol IVECO brand commercial vehicles spare parts in a specific geographical market. Reached the sales and market share objectives of the company for this specific region, micro-marketing, network management and development activities, direct and indirect sales.

The Company :Otoyol Pazarlama is the joint venture of Koç Group and Iveco SpA. Koç group is the biggest private enterprise in Turkey with 115 companies operating in different industries and nearly 12 billion US$ annual revenue. Iveco Spa. is the commercial vehicle company of FIAT group. It is the result of the 25 years-long merger process with Italian FIAT and OM commercial vehicles, French Unic, German Magirus, British Ford, Seddom Atkinson and Spanish Pegaso.

Otoyol Pazarlama manufactures Trucks, Busses and vehicle components and It also serves as the general distributor for the vehicles manufactured by itself locally and by Iveco in abroad. It provides its’ services through 91 sales points and 88 spare parts delivery and 142 service dealerships. Otoyol Pazarlama has the ISO 9002 quality certificate.

Spare Parts Sales Chief

Established a new parts distribution center and provided satisfactory service level to Fiat workshops in Ankara region. Managed 3 people involved in purchasing, stock management and warehousing of the car spare parts. Sold spare parts for 19 authorized workshops on daily basis.

The Company :Oto An As. is the regional marketing company of Koç Group and it is established to sale FIAT – Tofas vehicles in Turkey.

Responsible for service operation to the customer.Worked with 14 waiters and waitresses. Prepared personnel schedules, measured their performance, managed them on the service times and provided customer satisfaction via excellent service.

The Company :Tadim Pizza Ltd. is a little regional pizza restaurant chain with its 6 restaurants in Ankara.
