EXPERIENCE

98 -2001                        Systems Administrator (EGS BANK, Istanbul, Turkey)

 

Migrated and designed EGS bank system from distributed AS/400 database to centralized Windows SQL 7.0 on two Compaq 7000 series and cluster these two machines which is located in Head Office with daily data replicate to disaster center. Then Migrated EGS BANK Windows NT 4.0 to Windows 2000 Active Directory single domain with 42 subnets for each branch. Designed Internal DNS differ than external for security purposes.

·         Designed and implemented NT 4.0 network DHCP, WINS, and DNS servers, configured users Desktop environment. (Logon scripts policies).

·         Installed and configured 60 NT Server on Compaq Proliant 1600 servers using raid card RA4000 to configure raid 5 and raid 1.

·         Installed 45 Windows 2000 DC`s on Compaq proliant 1600, 2 windows 2000 advanced server on Compaq proliant 7000 series for SQL server and clustered these 2 servers for high availability.

·         Installed and maintained Windows 2000 RIS servers, Treminal Server 4.0, IIS 4.0, group policy, OU (Organization Unit).

·         Designed and Configured RRAS VPN Servers, L2TP Protocol for Encryption and MSCHAP for Authentication for achieving secure connection to Head Office through Internet.

·         Configured Cisco 2610, 3640 and 7206 series routers for Frame Relay using EIGRP as routing Protocol.

·         Configured Extended Access list to filter source, destination address, and permit or deny specific Protocols and ports.

·         Configured NAT (Network Address Translation) on a router that has a direct connection to the Internet.

·         Installed and managed Check Point FireWall-1 4.1 Enterprise rules, Logs and hide LAN from internet.

·         Installed HP and Xerox network printers, HP and Intel print servers using TCP/IP printing.

 

Exchange Project:

Designed and implemented of Exchange 5.5 organization consisting of 50 Exchange servers.

Perform automatic configuration of Outlook 98 profiles using Profgen.exe.

Using Trend Micro Interscan anti-virus software to protect our mail system form viruses.
